NANO-UV is a private French company located outside Paris, in the largest high-tech industrial park in Europe.
The initial technology portfolio and patents were acquired from EPPRA SAS, a French company dedicated to R&D in pulsed power and plasma applications.
NANO-UV manufactures its breakthrough EUV sources for Metrology and EUVL HVM applications for the semiconductor industry.
Management
Dr. Peter Choi (President & Director of Technology)
Dr. Peter
Choi is one of the founders of NANO-UV, as well as one of the two founders
of EPPRA. As the President of NANO-UV he is leading not only the management
team, but also the building NANO-UV's corporate structure, product development
and manufacturing organization. As Director of Technology he is responsible
for the scientific know-how transfer from EPPRA and new product development.
Dr. Choi is an internationally acknowledged scientist in the field of plasma
physics and pulsed power and the inventor behind all the patents held by NANO-UV
and EPPRA. He has authored and co-authored a wide range of scientific publications.
Dr Carmen Dumitrescu (Director of Finance)
Dr.
Carmen Dumitrescu, is one of the founders of NANO-UV, as well as one of the
two founders of EPPRA. As the CFO of NANO-UV, she works to ensure the smooth
running of the company in all financial aspects. Her deep involvement in research
management and her outstanding financial competence, resulting from her long
years as EPPRA's President and CEO, will form the basis to serve NANO-UV in
her position.
Yves CHEMLA (Director, Business Development)
Mr. Yves CHEMLA is a known international Startup Business Developer. As a director of NANO-UV, he is developing worldwide contacts, marketing and sales strategies, and is working to respond to the requirements of the marketplace in the EUVL HVM and metrology industries. He has successfully managed and developed high tech companies over the past 15 years and has an MBA from the ESSEC business school in Paris.
